The holiday home is located in Drenthe near the border with Friesland and you can walk and cycle from the house into the nature reserve. The house is built sustainably according to the latest technologies and is gas-free. It produces more CO2 than it costs. This way you can enjoy your holiday with peace of mind, no CO2 footprint. The house is furnished in such a way that you quickly feel at home and is fully equipped. The Drents-Friese Wold is the second largest forest in the Netherlands and you can enjoy walking, cycling directly from the holiday home. mountain biking and see animals in their natural environment such as deer, squirrels, badgers, all kinds of birds and cattle. Relax in nature for a few days or longer, enjoy a fully and comfortably furnished ruralhut and everything you see and hear. Dogs are very welcome.

" It was wonderfully quiet, no road noise - just birdsong. The landscape is very varied, forests with ferns and moss, many different mushrooms, heathland and small waters nearby. The house is great! Modern, cozy and tastefully decorated with attention to detail. The house was very clean and the bathrooms are a dream! We also made extensive use of the sauna and the kitchen was very well equipped. The fact that there was a washing machine and dryer is a real luxury and very convenient. Our child also felt very comfortable. There were various games and toys and the hammocks are a dream! There were 4 adults, 1 child and 3 dogs in the house. Everyone had enough space to retreat in between and we had a relaxing, wonderful time in Wateren."

Arrival and departure days are flexible.

Red is fully booked. Light green is not an arrival or departure date. Dark green is available. Half green/red means it's only an arrival or departure date.

The minimum number of nights is 2. For the villa, it's 3. Summer holidays: 7 and 5, respectively. Sometimes a shorter stay is possible, in which case you can select this.

After selecting your stay, you'll see the rate for this period. Cleaning fees and tourist tax will be added as you proceed, along with additional linens if desired.

Arrival and departure times vary slightly per house. Arrival around 3:30 PM and departure by 10:30 AM.

Prices
We notice that many guests do not necessarily want to stay for a week or arrive on Friday or Saturday. We are flexible in this and use a price per night for Friday/Saturday and Sunday - Thursday + cleaning and tourist tax. Public holidays are weekend rate. Minimum 3 nights with the exception of the summer holidays (5 nights+).
VAT from 1 January 21% on accommodation (was 9%) and linen. 9% on Cleaning.

Our rates, by no means everything. The villa is very complete, there is everything. The VAT increase takes some getting used to for everyone. To be able to maintain the house and garden, replace everything that breaks, pay all fixed costs and not save on the holiday feeling, pleasant arrival and stay, these rates are necessary. It is a very large and luxurious house with XL garden and unique location. Cleaning and linen are outsourced. We save a large part of the income to maintain the house and pay our fixed costs so that we can offer it in the future.
