In Drenthe, near the border with Friesland and the villages of Diever, Vledder and Wapse, Boshuisje Wateren I is located on the Boterpol in the middle of the forest. The holiday home is suitable for 1 - 5 people and has a spacious forest garden of 1,400m2. In the forest and on the adjacent heathland you can walk, cycle/mountain bike directly from the holiday home and see animals in their natural environment such as deer, squirrels, badgers, all kinds of birds and cattle. Come and relax for a few days or longer, enjoy a fully and cozily furnished nature house and everything you see and hear.

"Last week we had an absolutely wonderful week in the extremely comfortable and perfectly equipped Boshuisje Wateren. Beautifully situated in an intimate, hidden forest garden where you can watch the birds and squirrels up close from behind the large windows. The cottage is located on a bungalow park, don't let that put you off: the park is so spacious that most houses are hidden in the greenery, giving you a lot of privacy and hardly being able to see the neighbours' houses. And the surroundings are great: you can walk from the cottage to the Doldersumseveld heathland within 10 minutes and the most wonderful nature is at your disposal within a short drive. I say: book it if you want to relax in a holiday home!"

"The forest house is beautifully situated in the forest. Nicely decorated, comfortable and above all wonderfully quiet. Lots of nature and birds to observe in the garden and the surroundings (nature reserve). Really recommended for those who like to walk and want to relax. Nice next to the stove or outside, we simply enjoyed our 3 days and will be happy to come back. Contact with the owner was also smooth, easy and very hospitable. In short, a very nice stay!."

"The nature in Drenthe and Friesland is beautiful and the nature house is in a favorable location to visit various nature parks. You can also walk into the forest with the dog. The silence in the park was soothing for city people. Wonderfully quiet, a real place for relaxation.

The garden of the cottage is phenomenal. Squirrels run back and forth to collect peanuts and walnuts that you brought with you for their winter supplies. The facilities in the cottage were more than expected. The owner sent a warm welcome email and there was also a welcome surprise. In short, it was a great experience."
