In Drenthe, close to the border with Friesland, lies Boshuisje Oude Willem in the heart of the Drents-Friese Wold. The holiday home features a large forest garden of over 1,000 m² with beautiful views of the Oude Willemerveld and the Tilgrup. If you are lucky, you might spot roe deer and storks in the fields. In this cozy cottage with large windows, you can enjoy the silence and the surrounding nature. The holiday home has a spacious living and dining room with an open kitchen and wood-burning stove, as well as a separate large conservatory. The house has two bedrooms, one with a double Swiss Sense bed and a sturdy bunk bed suitable for adults with good mattresses. The forest cottage has a sauna with a view of the nature reserve — perfect for completely unwinding after a long walk. Furthermore, the cottage is equipped with all kinds of conveniences: super-fast Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dryer, plenty of games, a record player, and a JBL tuner radio. And how great is it that you can walk or cycle straight into the forest from the house!

"We enjoyed the garden with the great view and the many birds that came daily to the food that we had put down. Regular guests were the family of Hawfinch, Jay and Great Spotted Woodpecker. Deer were regularly seen in the field.
The hanging chair in the conservatory was often used on days when the weather was a bit worse.
It was wonderfully quiet and dark at night and we slept very well. A perfect base to explore the area with all those beautiful
nature reserves within easy reach."

"My aunt and I had a great time here! We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we were perfect here! It was a fantastic little house; everything is so neatly taken care of, and everything has been thought of. We enjoyed the lovely garden, we saw squirrels, deer and many beautiful birds, we played games and turned on records in the evening and we also had a lovely walk in the forest!

Arrival and departure days are flexible.

The minimum number of nights is 2. Summer holidays: 7 nights. Sometimes a shorter stay is possible, in which case you can select this.

After selecting your stay, you'll see the rate for this period. The cleaning fee (€65) and tourist tax (€2 per person per night) will be added as you continue, along with optional linen (€16 per person).

What is the structure of the rates?
The rates vary by season: April - October and November - March. And the summer holidays.

The rate on Friday and Saturday is higher than on Sunday - Thursday.
November - March: 10% discount from 4 nights, 15% from 7 nights
The last-minute rate appears if available.
